GMSP Foundation, supported by I.G. Advisors and Social Misfits Media, are working with Ashiana and another 4 charities that address violence against women in BME communities across the UK.
Our aim is to raise a total of £150,000 from the public and selected match funders through crowdfunding, for Ashiana Network and the 4 other charities.

Ashiana Network offers specialist refuge, advice, support and counselling services for black and minority ethnic women and girls (14+) affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, forced marriage, honour based violence, female genital mutilation and women who have no recourse to public funds.
Our aim is to empower the women and girls who use our services so that they are able to make informed choices and decisions about their future.
The difference we have made in the last year includes:
500 women and girls supported across our refuge, advice and counselling services
138 left their abusive family home.
Forced marriage prevented in 18 cases.
109 reported the abuse to police.
9 women gained their indefinite leave to remain.
91% of young people in our education programme agreed they learnt more about domestic violence.
“Ashiana Network is an invaluable resource in our community.
Thank you Ashiana!”
