We provide confidential one-to-one counselling services for women and girls who are impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, as well as women and girls who have experienced any form of Harmful Practice including forced marriage, honour based violence and female genital mutilation.
Counselling offered is short term (6-15 Sessions) and provided by accredited qualified counsellors and experienced volunteer counsellor/placements.
Ashiana Network is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Our counselling service provides therapeutic interventions that increase confidence and self-esteem of women and girls accessing counselling and thereby empowering them to make positive life choices such as exiting violent relationships. We aim to reduce the impact of domestic violence in their lives. We provide a safe and supportive environment where our clients can discuss their experiences and feelings on a 1 to1 basis with qualified, specialist therapists. Our ultimate aim is to improve the lives of vulnerable women and girls in some of London’s most deprived boroughs.
