The sunflowers support group is open to any woman living in Waltham Forest affected by domestic violence who wishes to talk about her experiences in a confidential and supportive environment. It is a woman only group. Creche facilities are available.

Women have expressed that not only have they found a place where they receive support and encouragement in a safe and non judgemental environment, but also where they can socialise and make friends with other women with a shared experience. They have expressed how they have much better self esteem and no longer feel isolated. This has helped many to feel more confident, independent and some have also been able to leave the abusive relationships.

In 2008 we delivered a support group for women in the community. 14 women attended.
